DO YOU HAVE A CAR THAT DOESN’T RUN!!!

How many people own an automobile that doesn’t run.  Maybe it sits in the garage waiting to be worked on.  Maybe it’s in the driveway up on blocks.  You are waiting to get that part or just waiting to have time to work on it.

But since it doesn’t run you don’t have it insured.  THIS is a big mistake.  Because if you get in an accident you may be considered to be a “limited tort” victim even if you have a “full tort” policy.  Not only are you wasting money on a “full tort” insurance you may lose thousands of dollars if you are injured in a accident but the injury does not qualify as a “serious bodily injury”.

If you have a car that doesn’t run and is not insured either insure the car or get rid of it.  If you junk it or sell it make sure you send the license plate to Penndot or make sure the proper paperwork goes there.
